Stronger For The Life you Want to Live
Personalized personal training for older adults and people living with chronic pain.
Meet Your Trainer
EXPERIENCE YOU CAN FEEL.
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with more than 15 years of experience helping people become stronger, more capable, and more independent.
My professional background has taught me how to work with people at many different levels of ability.
My personal experience has taught me something equally important:
I know what it feels like to have your body limit you.
After four spinal surgeries and years of chronic pain, I’ve had to learn how to work with my own body, make modifications, build strength gradually, and keep moving forward.
Today, I live an active life—and I want to help my clients discover what is possible for them.
My philosophy is simple:
Meet people where they are.
Start with what matters to them.
Build from there. It's About You & For You:
In-home and gym-based training designed around your body, your abilities, and the things that matter most to you.
You don’t have to fit into a traditional workout program.
I bring more than 15 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to create individualized exercise programs that help you move with greater strength, confidence, and independence.
Personal Training . A Different Approach.
Your fitness program should be about more than sets, repetitions, and how much weight you can lift.
It should help you live your life.
Maybe you want to walk farther, navigate your stairs more easily, get up from the floor, travel, garden, play with your grandchildren, or simply feel stronger and more confident in your own home.
That’s where we start.
I combine personal training with an occupational therapy perspective to focus on the movements and abilities that are meaningful to you.

Your Home. Your Gym. Your Real Life.
Getting to a gym isn’t always easy—especially for older adults who no longer drive or for people dealing with pain, mobility limitations, or recovery from surgery.
That’s why I bring your training to you.
Working in your own environment also gives us an advantage.
We can practice the movements you actually use every day, in the places where you use them.
Your stairs.
Your kitchen.
Your favorite chair.
Your driveway.
Your neighborhood. The goal isn’t to make you better at working out.
The goal is to make you better at living.
Chronic Pain
I UNDERSTAND WHAT IT’S LIKE TO LIVE IN A BODY THAT HURTS.
I don’t just work with people experiencing chronic pain.
I’ve experienced it myself.
After four spinal surgeries, I know the frustration, uncertainty, and emotional toll that can come with chronic pain and physical limitations.
I also know that your limitations don’t have to define your life.
My approach is to find ways for you to move successfully, modify exercises when necessary, gradually build strength, and regain confidence in what your body can do.
You don’t have to be pain-free to start getting stronger.
An Occupational Therapy Perspective
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO DO?
My background as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant changes the way I look at exercise.
Instead of asking only:
“What exercises should you do?”
I ask:
“What is keeping you from doing the things you want to do?”
That might mean improving your leg strength so you can get up from a chair.
It might mean improving your balance so you’re more confident on stairs.
It might mean finding a different way to perform a movement because of pain or a physical limitation.
There isn’t always one right way to accomplish something.
We find the way that works for you.
More Than a Workout
PERSONALIZED SUPPORT FOR OLDER ADULTS
Over the years, my work with older clients has often extended beyond exercise.
My healthcare background allows me to understand medical information, communicate comfortably with healthcare professionals, and help clients stay organized when managing complicated schedules and healthcare needs.
For some clients, that has included helping organize medications and appointments, preparing questions for medical visits, or accompanying them to appointments.
I don’t diagnose or replace your medical providers.
I can, however, be an experienced advocate and an extra set of eyes and ears when you need one.
